BEND TOWARD THE LIGHT

Book/Lyrics by Bryce Palmer and Music/Orchestrations by Sarah Slipp

“Bend Toward the Light” is a sung-through musical interrogation that tells the story of two fraternal twins, Asher and Willow, who have grown to resent each other as the years have gone on. In this two-hander show, the twins venture through the woods to recover a time capsule they buried with their late father when they were kids. It is revealed at the end of the show that this version of Willow is only a figment of Asher’s imagination, and that he is actually in an interrogation for her murder.
